Versago 2026R2: PayFabric Payments, a Modernized Platform, and Faster Everything

, VP of Product and Development

Three people and a spreadsheet to run a payment. If you’ve seen that in your shop, you already know the problem. The gap between your SAP Business One data and the people who need it costs real money, and it does it quietly. 2026R2 closes more of that gap. Here’s what’s worth knowing.

PayFabric Is Now a Payment Option in Versago

Versago has always handled integrated payments. What’s new in 2026R2 is PayFabric.

PayFabric is a name worth knowing. They’re the same gateway we support in our CreditCard add-on for SAP Business One. We know the integration well, and now that same trusted option lives inside Versago too.

Without an integrated gateway, your team chases invoices, customers dig up card numbers, and batch runs mean manual data entry. Every step in that chain is a chance for delay, error, or frustration. None of it is something you’d design on purpose if you started from scratch.

With PayFabric, customers enter card details through a hosted payment form. Sensitive data never touches your servers, which matters for compliance and for peace of mind. From there, customers manage a digital wallet: add a card, edit one, delete one, set a default. A type-ahead search makes finding the right payment method fast, even when someone has multiple cards on file.

For your team, the efficiency shows up in batch processing. Customer fields map directly into payment runs without manual data entry. The whole workflow runs inside Versago, not alongside it. Collections get faster. Reconciliation headaches get fewer. And one less process lives outside the system.

Cash flow improves. Customer experience improves. If you already know PayFabric from our CreditCard add-on, you know what you’re getting.

One note for your IT team: the PayFabric integration requires a database migration as part of the upgrade, so plan for that.

OData and SAP Data Views Work Smarter Now

Every query your web app sends to SAP Business One draws on system resources. When those queries pull more data than they need, performance suffers for everyone on the system. Multiply that across a team and it adds up fast.

2026R2 takes aim at this directly. A new property-selection UI lets you specify exactly which fields a query needs, so Versago sends smaller payloads to SAP. Dynamic dropdown filters narrow results at the data level, which means users see relevant options instead of scrolling through everything SAP holds.

We also added query-length validation. It catches problems before they reach SAP and eliminates a whole category of cryptic errors that nobody enjoyed troubleshooting. Busy indicators tell users when a long-running query is working, so the “is this frozen?” moment stops happening.

The result: faster responses for your users, a lighter load on your SAP system, and less time chasing data issues.

Forms, Focus, and Admin Performance

Small friction adds up. A field that loses focus when someone tabs to it. An admin screen that loads slowly. A parameter that maps incorrectly and sends the wrong data downstream.

We fixed all of those in 2026R2. Field focus and ordering issues in forms are resolved. A BizWeaver array parameter mapping error is corrected. Admin form-list loading is significantly faster, particularly for administrator roles.

These aren’t the flashy features. They don’t get enough credit. But they’re what your team runs into every day, and a release that gets them right is worth noting.

One Thing to Do After You Upgrade

Before you log back in after upgrading, clear your browser cache. New features and UI updates won’t appear until the cache is refreshed. It takes about ten seconds and saves a lot of confusion about why something isn’t showing up.
